Plenty of Bible Verses Can Help You Brave the Tough Times in Your Marriage

Couples usually end up getting divorced whenever they marry for reasons other than true love. You may find yourself searching for the perfect person to make you happy before you get married. Instead, people should focus on getting married to someone who they can’t live without and who they would do anything to make happy over the years. You need to put the happiness of your spouse ahead of happiness for yourself which some find to be a very difficult job.

There are a number of recommendations that are set forth in the Bible to help couples keep everything on an even keel. There are all types of problems that you can experience in your marriage, so relying on these pieces of advice will help considerably.

1. Mark 8:36 – “What good is it for a man to gain the whole world yet forfeit his own soul?” Married partners do not have to give up their own identities in order to live for their spouses.

2. I Corinthians 13:4&5 – “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” God could not have put the rules for a loving marriage any better.

3. I Corinthians 7:27 – “Are you married? Do not seek a divorce.” It’s not that hard to understand this verse either. There are no problems in the world that God views is serious enough to get divorced from your partner.

4. Proverbs 15:17 – “Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred.” Just because you’re experiencing financial problems doesn’t mean that you should get divorced because of them. Couples vow to stay with each other through thick and thin so remember your promise.

5. Luke 6:37 – “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven”. You should take this stance towards people who strive to be enemies with you, but you should also do so when it comes to those who you love.

These are only a few examples of how the Bible tells us to live a life without divorce. There’s good reason why this book has sold the most copies of any book in history. Doc No. 34Sdlhgsdl -sds
